It's National Men's Health Month guys, here is a great way to stay informed and if you have been putting off getting your screenings please use this month to make that happen, for your health, and for Father's Day.


We had a great CPR & AED First Time Instruction class on Saturday April 14, 2018. Five participants were Certified by the American Heart Association. And as a follow-up on Saturday April 21, 2018 we will have a class for Renewals Only, for expired CPR and AED Cards or if your card is close to expiration join us there, see fliers for more thanks.








Through our partnership & collaboration with Cedars Sinai, we are able to provide Cancer Awareness information to the men in the Nickerson Gardens. Our objective is to reduce Cancer Related Disparities in that Community with our Enlightenment Sessions. We will gather there every Friday in April and two Fridays in May 2018. We are very grateful & excited about SAVING OUR MEN there. 





This is a late post from January 2018. We were so very Honored to have participated in this year's MLK PARADE. We were asked to join the T.H.E. Clinic to Honor the Legacy of the Great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. What a thrill, and an awesome experience this was for us, Amen. Thanks Team.

The Men’s Cancer Network has partnered with UCLA and the VA to help share the importance of colorectal cancer screening and to better understand the barriers that prevent cancer screening among Veterans in the South LA community. 
To accomplish this we are holding three 2 to 3 hour workshops in the community and have invited a VA representative to attend our workshops. Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire both before and after the workshop. Participation in the Let’s Talk About It workshop is voluntary and is not part of any care that you are currently receiving.  
You must be 45-85 years old, a Veteran, a resident of South LA and have access to a working phone to participate. Eligible participants will receive a gift card in the amount of $25 for their participation.

OUR EVENTS OF 2017 

Happy Holidays to all of you from all of us. Our Mission continues for Men's Health, Wellness, Support, and Prevention all year round, and this month we ask you to consider us for #GivingTuesday on 11/28/17. We had a great year 2017 and will be of greater assistance in 2018 with your help, any amount you give will help us to help men and their families move forward with concerns about Cancers including Prostate, Colon/Colorectal, Lung and Male Breast.
Remember-TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK.



As we head this week towards Thanksgiving day 11/23/17 we are preparing by looking for volunteers to help feed the homeless at the Fred Jordan Mission downtown L.A. skid row area located on the corners of 5th & Towne. This is our 5th year serving the soup kitchen there. WE need plate servers, pie servers, gravy servers, table setters, trash takers, and greeters. We will serve as team leader for section-5 on Thursday Thanksgiving Day, you can volunteer for as long as you like and believe us there is no better feeling in the World then to serve others who are less fortunate then we are Amen.
