We are prepared to begin our seed grant workshops this April-2019 this is a two year project on Prostate Cancer in the African American Communities in South Los Angeles. Our  objective is to increase Prostate Cancer Screenings with African American Men, as an incentive we will provide a FREE LUNCH BOX, a FREE RAFFLE, and a FREE $25.00 GIFT CARD to all men who attend our workshops. If you are a man 40-years of age or older you should attend this vital workshop. 

Prostate Cancer is the number one cancer in  African American Men and in our African American  Communities, Early detection is the key to a longer, healthier, stronger life. Don't put this off any longer guys!

March 16, 2019-Our annual event for Colon/Colorectal Cancer Awareness will take place at the Vermont/Slauson Economic Development Corporation. The corigroup of Doctors will provide the best presentation of how to treat  & prevent  these cancers. Special thanks to Ms. Erika Cobb & Dr. Gregory Burks for this very special presentation event. Special Note...We are approved to receive the Proclamation declaring March as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Date & Time-TBA later during the month of March. Our thanks to Los Angeles City Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson's Office -Proclamation Ceremony Event will be held at Los Angeles City Hall South.


March 7, 2019-We are hosting a viewing party-Live Stream from Atlanta for the American Cancer Society's Global Headquarters . The objective is to gain 80% In All Communities for Colorectal Cancer Awareness & Screenings. We  agree and join them to help complete this objective. Colorectal Cancer is the second leading cause of Cancer deaths in the United States. At Holman UMC Church.


February 16, 2019-Men's Cancer Support Group Meeting, Members & Board Members will meet on this day. Training the Trainer for our Members, Board discussions on future projects & funding opportunities.


World Cancer Day-February 4, 2019. We will gather on Sunset Blvd.at the Short Stop to Celebrate All Cancer Survivors's Birthdays, and Honor All Care-Givers. Battling cancer is a tough journey, it's worth a Celebration because winning this fight for your life is a blessing to remember. Care-Givers, Thanks for helping make this hard journey a little easier to handle, we could not have completed this journey with-out you, Amen. 


 Men's Cancer Support Group Meeting-January 19, 2019-9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Topic-Metastatic Prostate  &  Breast Cancers. All Prostate & Breast Cancer Survivors should attend this meeting, here's why-Can your cancer become Metestatic? was it part of BRCA-1? or BRCA-2? do you have family history of Cancer? Attend to get answers to these important questions. 

Open to the Public's  Men & Women. Plus you may join the (COUNT ME IN) Research Study.

Our Cancer Support Group Meeting-November 17, 2018. Metastatic  Prostate Cancer, Members Meeting, and Board Meeting. 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. At  Holman UMC Church.


We supported our Partners Corigroup.org with Breast Cancer Awareness, Prostate Cancer Awareness. At Center of Health Church, Los Angeles CA. October 6, 2018 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.


We are very excited and honored to have reached this 10-year Anniversary, What a Journey.

We are also excited about Proclamation Day 9/7/18. Thanks to Councilman Dawson & Ryu for this Prestigious Honor.

 ATTENTION VETERANS...Join us for our last workshop that will increase your knowledge of Colorectal Cancer Screenings. Men & Women Veterans are invited to attend this workshop for Free. Thursday July 26, 2018 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.


 It's National Men's Health Month guys, here is a great way to stay informed and if you have been putting off getting your screenings please use this month to make that happen, for your health, and for Father's Day. 

Saturday June 16, 2018-9 a.m. to 1 p.m.


 We had a great CPR & AED First Time Instruction class on Saturday April 14, 2018. Five participants were Certified by the American Heart Association. And as a follow-up on Saturday April 21, 2018 we will have a class for Renewals Only, for expired CPR and AED Cards or if your card is close to expiration join us there, see fliers for more thanks. 


 Through our partnership & collaboration with Cedars Sinai, we are able to provide Cancer Awareness information to the men in the Nickerson Gardens. Our objective is to reduce Cancer Related Disparities in that Community with our Enlightenment Sessions. We will gather there every Friday in April and two Fridays in May 2018. We are very grateful & excited about SAVING OUR MEN there. 
 

 This is a late post from January 2018. We were so very Honored to have participated in this year's MLK PARADE. We were asked to join the T.H.E. Clinic to Honor the Legacy of the Great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. What a thrill, and an awesome experience this was for us, Amen. Thanks Team.
