Freddie,
So nice to talk with you today. As I mentioned this year’s Thanksgiving will not be as big as in the past. We will be having a chapel service in our chapel and then the guests will go into our dining room for the Thanksgiving meal. I have you down for Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 8:00 am to 12 noon. We are doing time slots so everyone has an opportunity to serve. As I mentioned we do have that day filled with all the volunteer spots.
We talked about seeing if your team would like to come on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. They would be able to help me with all the prep work for the meal in the kitchen.
I attached a flyer of the event to this email.
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions at 626-422-4437.
God Bless,
Cheryl Beintema

As you know, cancer risk rises 11 times in adults over 65. As people age, the challenges of dealing with treatment side effects and managing cancer become more pronounced. Seniors often grapple with ongoing health concerns and face heightened risks when undergoing treatments. For individuals dealing with Alzheimer's and dementia, sticking to treatment regimens becomes difficult, which in turn lessens the effectiveness of those treatments.
To assist seniors and their families, we created a detailed guide that addresses common challenges in cancer care, provides information about various senior care options, and offers valuable advice for choosing the right care approach.
You can view it here: https://www.assistedliving.org/making-cancer-care-decisions-for-older-adults/.
